If you are a fan of 60s art then you may be interested in the latest selling exhibition that Sotheby's has on at the moment, 'The New Situation: Art in London in the Sixities'.
Curated by legendary dealer Kasmin, whose gallery on Bond Street was the first architect designed 'White Cube' style. He mounted a series of ground-breaking exhibitions featuring Young British Artists, many of whom who have since been neglected, and not necessarily given the full recognition they deserve.
Today is unfortunately the last day of the exhibition, but the video above gives some background on the era from Kasmin's view point, and the accompanying catalogue is also well worth a look.
